Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Bangalore
Today arrive Bangalore. Upon arrival, meet & assist by our company representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore (135 Kms. / 03 hours)
Today morning post breakfast proceed for half day guided tour in Bangalore visiting Tipu Sultan Palace; The construction of the Tipu palace was started by Haider Ali & completed by Tipu Sultan. Also visit ISKCON Temple, a harmonious blend of the Dravidian & modern architecture. Then visit the Lal Bagh Garden & Vidhan Saudha, a seat of state legislature - an imposing magnificent palatial building built in ‘Neo-Dravidian’ Style and incorporates Indo Sara scenic elements. Afternoon drive to Mysore. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.

Day 03: Mysore
Today morning post breakfast, proceed for full day guided tour in Mysore visiting Srirangapatnam, the historic capital of Tipu Sultan known for his struggle against British rule. Later we visit Darya Daulat, commonly known as Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan; situated amidst scenic surroundings on an island formed by two branches of the River Cauvery. We also visit Maharaja Palace, designed by British architect Henry Irwin, the Amba Villas Palace as it is also known, was completed in 1912. Chamundi Hill, which is topped with a 12th century temple of Durga with the magnificent 5m tall Nandi, Carved from single piece of granite in 1659, its one of largest in India.

Day 04: Mysore – Ooty (160 Km / 4 Hrs)
Today morning we drive to Ooty, Queen of hill stations & the capital of Nilgiri district. Upon arrival, check – in to the hotel. Nilgiri means Blue Mountains. It was a very popular summer & weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. An added attraction for the tourists is the mountain train journey on a ratchet & pinion track which commences from Kallar, near Mettupalayam & wends its way through many hair-raising curves & fearful tunnels & chugs along deep ravines full of verdant vegetation, gurgling streams & tea gardens.

Day 05: Ooty
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing; visit Deer Park - The Ooty Deer Park is a unique wilderness situated on the fringes of the Ooty lake. It is one of the high altitude animal park in India, Doddabetta - It is highest peak in the Nilgiris and the name Doddabetta literally means 'big mountain' which is so in reality, Ooty Lake - The Ooty Lake is the pride of the Blue Hills. It is Central and strategic attraction. Return back to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 06: Ooty – Cochin (295 Km / 7 Hrs)
Today after breakfast drive to Cochin, a very popular & historical sea trade connection with Middle East, Mediterranean Europe, Dutch & British. It has one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian coastline. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in buildings & structures representing different regions of the world. Upon arrival check – in at hotel. Evening enjoy the Kathak Kali dance show in Cochin.

Day 07: Cochin – Munnar (165 Kms. /04 hours)
Today morning we will proceed for half day city tour of Cochin visiting, St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue built in the year 1568, spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices, and Chinese fishing nets. Later in the afternoon we drive to Munnar (A famous hill station). Upon arrival check-in hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08: Munnar
Today morning post breakfast, proceed to sightseeing at Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park at Rajamala (Here you can see the Nilgiri Thar), Echo Point, Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Tea Plantations and TATA Tea processing Factory, Kundale Lake, Anayirankal Dam, Gap Point etc.

Day 09: Munnar – Thekkady (110 Kms / 03 hours)
Today morning post breakfast drive to Thekkady. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spices scented plantations. On arrival, check in to the hotel and after fresh up visit spice market and spice plantations. Here you can see the Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Cinnamon and other spices are grown.

Day 10: Thekkady – Kumarakom (135 Kms. / 04 hours)
After early breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Another scenic 04:00 hrs. drive. An unbelievable beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Kumarakom a beautiful small water world situated on banks of the Vembanad Lake. On arrival, check in at the backwater side resort and rest of the time leisure at hotel.

Day 11: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat)
After early breakfast proceeding to ALLEPPEY: (The Venice of the East) is a district of immense natural beauty, caressed by the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing the backwater county. Upon arrival, board the houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, and cruise around backwaters of Kumarakom to Thothapalli to observe and experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters.

Day 12: Alleppey – Kovalam (160 Kms. /04 hours)
Today morning disembark houseboat at Thothapalli and drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure for own activities.
